Cutting-edge technology for high-performance energy supply Classically, of course, transformers are used for voltage adjustment in this case. Bürkle + Schöck offers a wide range of products, from small transformers to special transformers of protection class 2 with reinforced or double insulation between the mains circuit and the output circuit, as well as transformers of protection class 3 with protective extra-low voltage SELV, PELV, or FELV.

In addition, we are the specialist for connection transformers, coupling transformers and coupling inductances, with which grid operators can communicate ripple control impulses for load switching or load shutdown via the power grid. On the consumer side, special ripple control pulses can be transformed out again and then trigger switching processes at the customer’s site, for example to regulate the feed-in power of a photovoltaic system.

However, these ripple control impulses sometimes interfere with modern control electronics and power electronics on the consumer side. To counteract these effects, Bürkle + Schöck has developed special mains filters that can filter out this interference right at the electricity house connection.
