Chokes are inductive passive components that are used for damping, interference suppression, commutation and current limiting in the power supply of electrical and electronic devices or systems. Other series of chokes are located in the middle of the frequency inverter, where they act as energy storage devices and perform interference suppression tasks. Due to the increasing use of electronic devices, such as inverters in photovoltaics or LED lamps, chokes are increasingly being used to reduce disruptive mains feedback in the form of harmonics, interharmonics or flicker.
