Single-phase isolating transformer for rooms used for medical purposes

Description

Information:

• The EMED series transformers comply with VDE 0570 for power supplies in rooms AG 2, with additional reinforced insulation in accordance with EN 61558-2-4.

• There is a static screen (screen winding) with an insulated connection between the primary and secondary winding. This screen (terminal S) may be connected to the PA.

• The secondary winding has a center tap that can be used to connect the insulation monitoring device.

• The transformers have vibration-free mounts for insulated installation.

• In addition, the vibration-free mounts reduce the noise generated by the transformer.

• Corrosion protection and the prevention of humming is ensured by vacuum impregnation using a cast resin.

• Piece-tested with CE mark

• Connection terminals easily accessible and safe to touch in accordance with VBG4. Connection cross-sections correspond to the current ratings.

• All transformers have DIN standard foot fixings for uniform pre-assembly.

• Fuses on the input and output side are available pre-wired on request at an extra charge.

• Low switch-on delay and therefore suitable for motor-protective circuit-breakers for inductive loads.

• Transformers are vacuum impregnated with cast resin varnish to reduce humming and to increase insulation.

• Protection class IP00, installation up to IP23, insulation class T40/B, frequency = 50/60 Hz, CE-compliant
