Output and motor chokes are interposed to protect high-speed spindles.
Output / motor choke
Description
Information:
More and more machine tools have high-speed rotating tool units (> = 10,000 rpm).
Particularly sensitive and therefore very expensive spindles are used here. In order to protect these spindles, special output chokes are installed between the inverter and the motor connection.
The frequencies for the output chokes are between 130 Hz and 1,500 Hz. These are often mixed, with other voltages and currents at each operating point.
In addition, there are also short-time S6 operations with increased currents. We calculate, design and manufacture the right output choke for you.
1st. example
Inductance 0.1 mH at 400 Volt / 318 Hz / S1 operation / 105 Ampere
Inductance 0.1 mH at 400 Volt / 318 Hz / S6-40 % / 137 Ampere
Inductance 0.1 mH at 400 Volt / 667 Hz / S1 operation / 88 Ampere
Inductance 0.1 mH at 400 Volt / 667 Hz / S6-40 % / 113 Ampere
2nd. example (240-380 volts)
Inductance 0.2 mH / 200 Hz / 82 amps / Imax 116 amps
Inductance 0.2 mH / 320 Hz / 59 amps / Imax 78 amps
Inductance 0.2 mH / 860 Hz / 48 amps / Imax 51 amps
Inductance 0.2 mH / 1,000 Hz / 39 amps / Imax 39 amps
With our experience (well over 1,000 different output chokes of this type), our special calculation programs and a wide range of manufacturing technology, we can build the perfect output choke for you.
High linearity across the current and a corresponding overload capacity are particularly important.
P. S.: For even more specialized and low-noise output and motor chokes, we offer special air coils.
