Three-phase commutating choke

Series DDK

Description

Information:

  • When using power converters with natural commutation, a current is transferred from one current branch to the other current branch. A full short circuit occurs at the moment of transfer. The resulting short-circuit current (ik) must be limited by a commutating choke. The main purpose of commutating chokes is to protect the electronics.
  • In addition to the standard series listed below, we can also dimension commutating reactors specifically for you according to your specifications using our calculation computer, and have them manufactured by our trained specialists.
  • Of course, we place great importance on adhering to the specified values during sizing, we produce according to the applicable regulations, and are striving to produce an optimal price-performance ratio for you.
  • Three-phase commutating choke, rated voltage Un = 3x 400V
  • standard design, short-circuit voltage uk = 4%
  • for current flow 120* rectangular blocks –> thermal current Ith thus 0.82 x In ( In = rated direct current)
  • Chokes are vacuum impregnated with cast resin varnish to reduce humming and to increase insulation.
  • High-quality insulation materials for insulation class T40/F
  • Windings on coil bodies or freely suspended on the sheet metal package (improved cooling)
  • Connections depending on current as cable lugs or flat copper connection
  • All chokes are computer-sized, piece-tested including a high-voltage insulation test with several 1000V. CE compliant IP00 degree of protection, suitable for installation up to IP21
